Non-profit Organization Galaxia: “We Need Your Help!”
Non-profit Organization Galaxia would like to raise financial help for building an indoor arena for: hippotherapy for people with disabilities, equestrian vaulting, and development of sport activities for kids throughout the year.
Non-profit Organization Galaxia was established in 2002, and has been working with kids since then. Besides helping kids with disabilities, we also support and practice another sport discipline called equestrian vaulting (often described as gymnastics and dance on horseback). We have been raising a lot of Slovak National Champions and Slovakian Representatives internationally. We accept kids at the age of 3, where we train and develop them for representing the club and Slovakia at international level. We do our best and train as often as possible with our youngest kids. However, it's not only up to us but other circumstances such as forecast. We are limited by not having the indoor arena that would allow us to train any day and any time throughout the year.
We also provide hippotherapy for kids from the age of 1 and half that have different diagnosis (from light to heavy). Demand for hippotherapy has increased in recent years. We are able to do it outdoors. However, if it's windy or rainy outside, it's impossible to do so. That's why we decided to take action and solve this problem. We want all kids to have a roof over their heads during any season, be able to train vaulting and provide hippotherapy with horses every day.
Because we are a small club and non-profit organization that works based on enthusiasm, volunteering, and love of horses, unfortunately, we are not able to build the indoor arena with our own budget. We kindly ask for any donation that would help us to meet our financial goal. I'm positive that we can find 20000 people with warm hearts that would donate 10 eur each. This would make our dream come true and I hope we can all hide under our own roof at the end.
